The Project
The Opera Residence is the third and final phase of The Metropole Thu Thiem, developed by Sonkimland. Located at Plot 1.14, Zone 1, Thu Thiem, District 2, the project sits at the core of the area planned to become Ho Chi Minh City's new financial district.
The full Metropole Thu Thiem development spans four phases — The Crest, The Galleria, a Branded Residence, and The Opera — positioned along the eastern bank of the Saigon River, directly across from District 1.

- One release announced the final day to book ahead of a selling event planned for 1 August 2020, with projected asking prices of US$6,500 - 7,500/m² for floors 5 to 22.
- Another release announced that refundable bookings would stop being accepted from Wednesday, 15 September 2020, ahead of the official launch on 3 October 2020. The early price was cited as from US$4,800/m².
The refundable booking deposit stood at 500,000,000 VND per booking, returned with interest to buyers who chose not to proceed.
