The Global City is the fourth major urban center in central Saigon, following Phu My Hung, Sala, and Van Phuc. The project spans 117.5 hectares in An Phu Ward, District 2 (Thu Duc City), with SDI Corp as the owner and Masterise Homes as the developer. The entire architectural design is by Foster + Partners.

Founded in the UK in 1967, Foster + Partners is the firm behind iconic landmarks including the Apple Park headquarters in the United States and Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Their involvement positions The Global City as a landmark urban development for Southeast Asia.

Location & Connectivity

The project occupies a prominent corner site fronting Do Xuan Hop Street and the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, with the following boundaries:

  • East: Do Xuan Hop Street
  • West: Saigon Sports City and the Rach Chiec Sports Complex
  • South: HCM - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway
  • North: Rach Chiec River

The location connects easily to central Ho Chi Minh City via Mai Chi Tho, Do Xuan Hop, the Long Thanh expressway, and the metro line. Once Long Thanh International Airport opens, international travellers entering the city via the expressway will pass directly through The Global City.
